Introduction to Applied Kinesiology


Applied Kinesiology is a manual therapy technique developed by Dr. Goodheart and Dr. John Thie, with the purpose of improving all aspects of health. It uses the neuro-muscular test to gather information from the subconscious through a dialogue, which shows us where a person's blockages may be and how to release them.

This muscle test is based on placing the muscle in isometric contraction and evaluating the tone's response to pressure in combination with specific questions. By applying a stimulus, we check if the muscle remains strong or weak. We attribute a YES or NO response to these answers, respectively. Once the binary response code is established, we can begin to ask questions, and the body will provide different responses—strong or weak, Yes or No. With these specific responses, we can identify the most useful tool to help the body find emotional balance in each challenging situation.

It is a non-invasive and side-effect-free technique suitable for people of all ages and can be used for diagnosis and treatment purposes, as it allows us to use a wide range of health techniques such as acupuncture points massage, craniosacral techniques, eye movements, specific breathing exercises, homeopathy, NAET, total reset, which have a positive impact on the health of those who use it.
